Scanned P0449 – Evap vent solenoid valve control circuit. Found Connector and wire going to solenoid was damaged. Repaired wire and connector. Cleared codes. Road tested vehicle, okay at this time.

2015 Toyota Tacoma

Verify A/C blowing warm, recover A/C found 0.86 lbs in system. System requires 1.32 lbs. Per customer compressor was recently changed on Tuesday 07/16/24. Check compressor, compressor clutch not turning on. Check power to compressor, power okay at this time. Check A/C relay okay at this time. Inspect compressor and found one connector to the compressor not fully engaged. Reconnect compressor and recheck. Found 1 of 3 connectors not fully clicked in, re-installed all 3 connectors. compressor turning on. Road test vehicle to check connection. A/C okay at this time.
EVACUATE AND RECHARGE A/C SYSTEM TO VEHICLE SPECIFICATION. FREON CHARGED SEPARATELY.
